Meet James Ferguson

Introducing James Ferguson

James A. Ferguson is a civil litigation attorney, whose practice focuses on employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination. Prior to joining Kent | Pincin, James worked as a judicial law clerk for the Los Angeles Superior Court. As a law clerk, James worked directly with various judges and gained extensive knowledge of civil law and motion practice.

 

James attended Duke University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences. Prior to law school, James worked for several years in energy development and environmental consulting. He attended law school at Pepperdine University, Caruso School of Law, where he was the Literary Citation Editor for the Journal for Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law. He also published an article entitled, “Death, Taxes and Clean Energy: How the Inflation Reduction Act Harnesses Tax Law to Revitalize American Clean Energy.”

 

James is admitted to practice before all California State Courts.

 

When he isn’t practicing law, James enjoys triathlons, spending time with his family, and watching Duke basketball.
